The property is lovely and peaceful. The hotel is beautifully appointed. The staff is very professional and the food and wine is good. We stayed 5 days, and we cannot wait to visit again.

The hosts are most gracious, lovely people and most hospitable. The breakfast was amazing.

We loved our stay at Casanova in the superior room. The location is perfect, an easy drive into Braga and also a great launching point for Geres. No worries about parking at Casanova; free, secured and flat parking lot. Owner Anna will tell you exactly where to park in Braga. This place is an absolute gem. We felt like guests at a private country estate. Our room was very clean and well furnished. The morning breakfast was better than most. Our only problem was that the wireless internet was useless at our room. Perhaps the host needs a range-extender closer to the remote room that we had.

Me encanto este lugar, me super impresiono lo limpio que estaba todo, el personal muy amable necesite mas toallas y enseguida que llame vinieron a traerlas, el chico de la recepción me ayudo a encontrar una tienda que estaba buscando, parqueo amplio, algo Difícil de encontrar en el area, el restaurante tiene un menu variado con precios aceptables, y el buffet del desayuno muy bueno, los recomiendo 100% y repetiría sin dudas.

Very good

Stayed here for a wedding. Was pleasantly surprised at the amenities and service. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Only downside was that getting to town required a short drive but uber rides were quick and inexpensive

This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. Everything was perfect. The bed was harder than I usually like but I slept well! I reserved this hotel because I had to be working in a meeting transcontinental at 2 AM. I didn’t wanna wake up my neighbors in the hotel and I needed really fast Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi worked even though it glitched a couple of times. It states it has super fast Wi-Fi. Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Use their recommended parking garage and be very patient as you drive up to the fourth floor for easier access with bags.

The property was clean,the area was safe and walkable. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely book again.
