Hotel Le Roy

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is excellent, right on the beach and in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap. It’s extremely walkable, with tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops just steps away. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were especially great, and we loved having food and drink service available right on the beach. You can literally walk out of the hotel and be on the sand in seconds. One downside for us was the hot water. The hotel uses solar-heated water, so on cloudy days or when there hasn’t been much sun, hot water is lacking. We ended up having many cold showers during our stay. We stayed in a penthouse suite, which was awesome with a full kitchen, 3 balconies, overlooking the beach and lots of space. There was only one other annoying issue which was the upstairs bathroom ventilation. There was a louvered, open window in the bathroom that could not be closed. It let in a lot of hot outside air and the bathroom was extremely hot and uncomfortable to use. One other item to mention, the bar has live music every night and our room was next to the bar. The music was so loud, overwhelming and truly annoying in our room. Those issues aside, we really liked this hotel. The beachfront location, friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenience to everything in St. Lawrence Gap made it a great place to stay. I would stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. We will say, it does not look like it does in the pictures online. Also, for being all inclusive we weren’t expecting most meals to be a buffet. They food was still good but was hoping for meals to order. The staff was GREAT. The views were beautiful, the water was great."

"My 13 & 15 year old daughters, and myself loved our stay so much that if we returned we would stay there again. (We were there for the Ninja Throwdown.) The entire hotel staff were all very welcoming, attentive, kind, and patient. The welcome beverage, I chose the rum punch, was so delicious and strong, I relaxed instantly from the journey; I could not wait to change into a swimsuit to lounge by the pool. Instead, upon checking into our studio room I lounged on the lounger of the balcony, while my daughters took in the beauty of the resort from the balcony table. Although our room was a studio, it was arranged so well that the space seamlessly flowed making it feel larger. We liked the space so much, that we were initially disappointed when they upgraded us to a one bedroom in the next "building" over because THEY were concerned we'd be troubled by stairway repair. They not only upgraded us to a beautiful one bedroom on the same upper level with a bigger balcony, but also gave us a meal credit for the inconvenience. The beach access was perfect! Although we did not enter due to the sargassam that is affecting most of that side of the island, we were able to walk the beach, lounge on the chairs, as well as enjoy the sound of the rolling waves from our balcony. The beautiful colors of the pool from the room, as we night swam in the pool, or as we listened to the music of the talented musicians each night was soothing. I only wish the menu was more varied for picky eaters."
