My experience at this hotel was fantastic. The staff were great, my room was clean and comfortable, and the services and amenities were excellent. It is also not too far from Chico, however for those who want to be in Chico itself then this is not a good option.
We stayed here while moving our daughter in at Chico state. They greeted us with warm cookies and friendly smiles. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel, but when we were there it was pleasant. They did double charge me but the customer service line fixed the issue as soon as I called. The actual hotel even called me after to apologize. I would definitely stay there again when in town.
When we got there the staff was really nice. There was no bad smell like how people described in other comments I have read. The room was really nice. The tv offered a lot of channels to watch and the wifi worked really fast. I would recommend others to stay here if they are visiting Chico
Don't judge by the exterior. Room was excellent. I think we had a handicapped accessible room but it was very roomy with king bed. Huge shower with instant hot water and great water pressure. TV, good a/c, Keurig coffee maker, small refrigerator with little freezer. Shampoo, conditioner etc. Comfortable bed. Close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The only downside: we were in room 1 by the highway. Need better blackout curtains. Some road noise, but not terrible.
