"Tseing was very responsive and helped us celebrate my parent’s anniversary. The view from the hotel was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had good vegetarian options."
"Wonderful Tibetan hotel, a treasure in so many ways. Lovely people, lovely place and a lovely location. Minutes to the Dalai Lama Temple, the Kora circuit and the markets. The place itself is beautiful and a paradise away from the hub bub of taxi stalls, markets and the energy of the city. The Hummingbird Cafe was delicious! We ate Tibetan foods everyday and loved each meal. We bought a beautiful artisan Tibetan picture frame from their mini store in the cafe. All proceeds go toward the Tibetan cultural and educational programs. Bravo Norbulingkha Institute, thank you. We adored our stay.

"We didn’t book a taxi transfer from the airport with the hotel, which we regret as the taxi driver struggled to find the hotel. We had absolutely no problem with the taxi transfer to the airport organised by the hotel. He got to the airport in about 45mins. To get from the hotel to the main part of the town you have to walk up lots of steps. The room we stayed in was nice with a balcony to admire the Mountain View and a heater which was needed in the evenings in the second half of November. The bathroom was less inviting. To get hot water, you needed to turn the heater on in the bathroom, which we weren’t told about. The shower didn’t have a shower tray and wet a large part of the bathroom floor. When we arrived there wasn’t any toilet paper or bottled water, but this was provided on request. We didn’t have breakfast but we did eat at the hotel once. Lots of things on the menu weren’t available and the restaurant area was very cold. We ate with our coats on. There is an outside rooftop dining area which I imagine is very pleasant on warm summer evenings. Final thing to be aware of, but nothing to do with the hotel is lots of dog barking all through the night."
"Absolutely excellent, highly recommend.
This is a beautiful resort set in stunning mountains, beautiful views all around.
Service was first class from absolutely all staff that work here . I would like to say a special thank you to Shisha at the front desk for being so helpful. Aghishek, Nikita, Vasu, Jitendu thank you all for the amazing first class service , I’ve felt welcomed , everything has been so easy, the room has been cleaned to a high standard.
The restaurant staff and cooks also have been to a high standard of food and service I can’t recommend highly enough , I would especially like to thank Varun, Rahul Bhati, Vineet, Rajesh, Rahul, Dinesh, Jochin.
Food is amazing with lots of choice for all diets and needs, and very tasty.
In the rooms there every toiletry you need , I had packed so many toiletries but did not need to use any as the shampoo, conditioner, body was, body lotion, face wash was all beautiful and natural ingredients ( and I am fussy ).
This is a perfect place to retreat , rest, and enjoy the most beautiful surroundings of the mountains in a five star resort with five star service .
I look forward to returning. "
