We recently stayed at SomSom House for two nights and three days with my parents and our youngest sons, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The two-story detached house felt like a private villa, giving us the comfort and privacy we hoped for. The space was generous enough for our whole family to relax without feeling crowded.

Great place to relax and unwind. Simple accommodations with beautiful views. Loved the tea rooms and yoga class. I’d come back to Jeju just to stay here again.
Overall, the hotel was built to house large group tourists. Material used in the building isn't very high quality. Cheap carpets everywhere and ripped here and there... Looks a lot better from the outside and lobby looks like a 4 star hotel. Thin walls - you can hear someone next room flushing toilet or taking shower.
BUT!! I am giving it a four star rating because you are paying for 1 to 1.5 star hotel and you are getting 2.5 star hotel room.
My second stay after about two years. The place is still tastefully decorated with high end materials. Great location by peaceful nice beach. Look forward to my third stay!
I had a wonderful time at this guest house! As a solo traveler, I stayed in the studio, which was spotless and perfect for my needs. The shower was great with excellent water pressure and the bed was very comfy. The host left a loaf of home baked bread and milk (for coffee!) along with some Nespresso capsules. It is literally just down the street from the basalt rock walls that line the shore. Cafes are within walking distance and it feels like a small community, even
Our room was very spacious with a beautiful view over the water. It's nice that there's a convenience store in the same building. It's a super short drive to the crater so it was a perfect place to stay before our hike.
Super friendly owner, very helpful. The breakfast that was provided was delicious, and the "igloos" were a fun and different and still very comfortable.
We loved our stay here! I will say that the photos certainly look like they have been taken a while ago, so our first impression was a little disappointing, but our stay was absolutely lovely! It was a great location, with beautiful views. We loved having the space in our own little condo, and the handmade, hand delivered breakfast each morning was unique and utterly delicious! Staff were helpful and kind.
