We recently stayed at SomSom House for two nights and three days with my parents and our youngest sons, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The two-story detached house felt like a private villa, giving us the comfort and privacy we hoped for. The space was generous enough for our whole family to relax without feeling crowded.
The bedding was extremely comfortable and luxurious, which made our nights especially restful. Everything was spotless and well maintained, creating a very pleasant...
Overall, the hotel was built to house large group tourists. Material used in the building isn't very high quality. Cheap carpets everywhere and ripped here and there... Looks a lot better from the outside and lobby looks like a 4 star hotel. Thin walls - you can hear someone next room flushing toilet or taking shower.
BUT!! I am giving it a four star rating because you are paying for 1 to 1.5 star hotel and you are getting 2.5 star hotel room.
Great place to relax and unwind. Simple accommodations with beautiful views. Loved the tea rooms and yoga class. I’d come back to Jeju just to stay here again.
Amazing property! The rooms looked exactly like the photos and were absolutely amazing. Loved the pool, the convenient location, and the included breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.
My second stay after about two years. The place is still tastefully decorated with high end materials. Great location by peaceful nice beach. Look forward to my third stay!
When we first arrived, our room had a strange mold smell that didn't go away, so we talked to the lady and she changed us to an equivalent room but lacking the smell with no fuss. Really comfortable and nice with a water filter in the main lobby. Self check-in and check out was nice and easy.
The outside could use a little cleaning up of cobwebs on the shared balcony outside grill space, but this is a pension in Korea and the weather has been unpredictable so I can understand.
