Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories. The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.

My family stayed one night on our drive down from Zadar to Dubrovnik. The hotel was clean and new. The beach and pool were both clean and not too busy. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was good. The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks. Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....

This is a family business. The staffs were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The hotel picked me up and drove me to the bus station, which was very helpful. The location and the view of the hotel are unbeateble, both the river and of course the sea view. 5-10 min walking along the river to reach the sandbeach. The view of the canyons from the beach/ocean ist unbelievable. Very quite location. I am planning to come back and to stay at the Hotel Villa Dvor again.

Room was clean and bathroom too. The staff were helpful and efficient. We were upgraded and given champagne for our anniversary. Sea view - albeit obstructed by natural trees. Breakfast had a wide variety and a la carte omelettes were ok. A great position for early morning walks along the Brela promenade and swims in the crystal clear water. Beach gets too busy by mid morning in my opinion and it is very narrow.

We just left Hotel Tamaris and I could not wait to write a review! Parking was a breeze/free. We were greeted at reception by the friendliest lady (unfortunately did not get her name) who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We were given an amazing room with the prettiest view of the sea!
