If museums are on your list of things to see, you might want to browse the collections at Berlin Wall Memorial Visitor Center in Mitte. Our travelers also like the monuments and art galleries in the area. If you want to see more of the museums in Berlin, you can easily walk to Humboldt Museum of Natural History.
If you like haggling for the best price, you might want to head out to Mauerpark Flea Market in Pankow and take in the atmosphere. Hotels.com travelers also like the museums, monuments, and art galleries in the area. Splash some more cash at Schonhauser Allee Arkaden, Torstrasse, and Gesundbrunnen Shopping Center.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Gesundbrunnen Bunker— just one of the monuments in Mitte. Our travelers also love the museums and art galleries in the area— your sightseeing tour starts here. Berlin has other landmarks you might want to visit such as Brandenburg Gate.
Clean, good size room with nice garden view. No luxury, stick to basic but color scheme is so pleasing. All people I came across, including front office, housekeepers, restaurant staff, were polite and helpful. Half of them don’t speak English but their helpfulness shown outwardly. They should emphasize that the hotel is just adjacent to the Wall Memorial, with street car stops in 50 meters. The best kept secret is the restaurant, the decor will please everyone with a nice private garden outside...
the staff was very nice. Everything was great except for the location which was far away from everything by walking, but comfortable using the transport existing in the city.
Large room and bathroom.
Dinning room in seventh floor with large view, serving rich selection breakfast and 24 hours sandwiches and drinks !free of charge.
What I miss in the room: working table, wardrobe for close storage and functional light in bathroom.
Very nicely appointed studio apartment with a lot of space. Location is central with quick access to the U and S trains at Potsdamer Platz. Excellent location for the Philharmonie and Kulturforum.
AMAZING! This is a 5 star boutique hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. This was our first trip to Berlin from NYC for 4 days. The hotel is located in the transitional, hip gay friendly Kreuzberg neighborhood. It felt chill and relaxed away from the tourist hoards in Mitte. The hotel staff was without exception relaxed, anticipatory, and polished - not formal and robotic like many chain hotels. We felt pampered like guests at a friend's weekend home. The design is thoughtful and of...
Perfect stay in Berlin. Staff are so friendly and helpful, property in a great spot. So nice to have a kitchen and I thoroughly enjoyed my balcony on the river!
A wonderfully comfortable, crisp and contemporary hotel—easily accessible to everything in Berlin by virtue of its location near the main train station….also via a pleasant walk along the banks of the Spree River into the heart of Mitte. Value, style, and practicality make this hotel a new favorite for me.
This is definitely one of my best experiences in traveling to Europe. What a beautiful setting, convenient and so close to all of the museums and attractions. You can walk over to fine restaurants, concerts and art exhibitions at the Museum Island. The weather was perfect in August. The city is full of history, art and culture. The people were so friendly wherever we went, and the food was exquisite just about any restaurant the we ate.
Great staff, clean property. Very accommodating for late check out. Rooms are huge! VIP upgrade was phenomenal! I would definitely stay here again during my next trip in Berlin.
