The view of the lake and mountains was amazing. The staff was very attentive and the food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Porta Hotel del Lago.

I would come back next time I'm in Panajachel. The grounds are beautiful to just sit and look at, read a book or talk with someone. It's very peaceful. Mi estadía fue solo por una noche y mi habitación era de dos camas individuales, T.V con cable y baño privado. Todo estaba muy limpio y silencioso. Jenna's B&B was an excellent place to stay! The views here of the lake and the volcanoes were so beautiful and the place truly felt like home. Our villa was comfortable and clean. We were provided with fresh linens and fresh water daily. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Hotel Atitlan is located near Panajachel on Lake Atitlan. It is a treasure with beautiful gardens, birds, and artwork everywhere you look. The pool and hot tub overlook the lake and volcanoes. It is close to shopping and tourist activities. You can walk to a nature reserve with monkeys, butterflies, and zip lines. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Don't miss this unique and gorgeous hotel.

This ia a fabulous old old hotel/monastery and museum, that is why I do not give a five in the condition but it was absolutely perfect for a one night stay going to the market. Paula the manager gave us a very interesting tour of the place and Manuel our personal attendant was very attentive, He built us a fire that lasted all night. Great experience! The garden was beautiful and relaxing. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! The family and staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and well-rested. Will be back!

Absolutely stellar views, excellent staff, easy to communicate with. Their website offers FAQ’s which are extremely helpful in figuring things out. I drove to Panajachel and they booked a boat for me late night for my arrival and were excellent at communicating where to go, what to do, etc. There are many stairs to climb once you arrive at the hotel.
