Özen (Ozzie -the night concierge) was the best concierge I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The first night we had a problem with the room, not only did he fix it quickly, but provided us several options and made sure to check on us everytime he saw us and sent some Turkish Delight to our room. I have never met a more genuine and caring person.

This hotel is in the "touristy" area of Sultanahmet, but is not "touristy" at all. It is an old apartment building from the 1930s that has been lovingly restored turned into a hotel with "all mod cons." Breakfast on the rooftop balcony is a plus!
We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A huge highlight was the adorable cats outside they greeted us every single time we returned! Location-wise, it’s super convenient and close to everything. The early Turkish breakfast wasn't quite our cup of tea, but it was okay. Overall, an excellent experience!
We found Union Port Hotel perfect for our needs. We arrived Istanbul a day before boarding our cruise ship. This hotel is located walking distance to cruise port though recommend a cab as it would be difficult to pull luggage even the relatively short distance. I have been traveling for the past twenty seven years and this was my fourth trip to Istanbul. Hotel Divan is a classy hotel, close to metro, lots of shops and restaurants.
