What a lovely boutique hotel, in the heart of Old Sultanahmet. Absolutely fabulous location. A short walk to the Blue Mosque, amidst all the shops and restaurants, and down the road from the Grand Bazaar and super easy metro. The hotel rooms are large, with nice drapes, and wood finishes. The staff are over the top incredible. They are kind, happy, helpful, patient and treat you like family. If I was ever again in Istanbul I would 100% stay here. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were impressed with the staff, very friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the room and lobby. Comfortable beds, good breakfast selection and great location with lots of restaurants. It is no more than 10 minutes to many of the sites and the tram line T1 is 5 minutes away that takes you to the sites abit farther away as well as to the other side of the Golden Horn!! This hotel is great value for the money! We highly recommend!

This really is a very nice, small, boutique hotel, right in the middle of the tourist area of Sultanahmet. On arrival you can expect a warm welcome from the very pleasant staff. The room was a decent size with a good ensuite bathroom. Plenty of choice at breakfast with a little bit of variation every day. While on the listing it shows a bar and there are bottles of shelves I don't think it actually opens for alcohol any more. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to take a drink and a sandwich or other snacks to enjoy the sunset over the city. If you want to be close to the main attractions in the tourist side of Istanbul then I would definitely recommend the Recital Hotel.

The staff was amazing! A package was left in our cab and they diligently searched video and called the cab companies and our package was returned. We were greeted with Turkish coffees and they offered kindness throughout our visit. The hotel location is excellent and within walking distance to sites. Our room was beautiful with lovely views. The tile grouting and flooring in the shower is in need of improvement. Notion also needs to be provided in the bathroom.
