This hotel was an amazing find. Not necessarily centrally located but was everything we needed for our 2 nights in Zagreb. Ubers were always available as this hotel is on the west side of town and about a 15 minute Uber ride from wherever we went. The hotel itself is new and very nice. The room was nice, the pool was nice, we had massages which were kind of hard to find times but still worked good. We ate at the restaurant on site which was comparitively inexpensive but excellent. We had a one night stay prior to heading to the airport. The room was very clean and the bed was nicely made and very comfortable. There were several restaurants and cafes nearby as well as a store to stock up on some snacks. Highly recommend staying here.
Our room was spacious and the staff was quick to relocate us when we had a plumbing issue. On site saunas (4) and pool. Good breakfast (included) and on-site restaurant. Parking is ample and location super convenient.
The best experiences I had there was the services. The lick of the room had a little issue and two people came to help me out with the situation. Both of them were very courteous and professional. The breakfast is superb and I don’t need to spend time first thing in the morning to look for food.
It couldn't have surprised us more. At first approach it looks like it's in the back of nowhere; but the place and the staff are exceptional. Early morning wake-up, no problem - what time do you want your breakfast? 4:30 ? Great! Then shuttle @ 5:00? No problem! We asked for a taxi to take us to the main Zagreb Square - he got us a limo for the same price & very reasonable.
It was a sound proof room. We had a king size bed, the mattress was from not soft. There were large pillows, 2 firm and 2 soft. When you turn of the lights in the bathroom, the exhaust fan takes a few minutes to turn off automatically. The breakfast was great. Met was recommended with no hesitation by my meeting planner for a quick stay in Zagreb and it did not disappoint! The Esplanade is a lovely hotel with marvelous food and a great staff who go out of their way to make your stay as personally pleasing as possible. It is on the higher end, but well worth the treat. Close walk to the main arteries and tons of great restaurants. Do love the no smoking as many other bars serving food allow it…so be prepared during the colder months.
The hotel all together was absolutely amazing. The staff was very kind. The rooms were excellent and have all possibly things needed for your stay. It was so clean and quiet. On top of all that, the restaurant “Fork” was absolutely excellent highly recommend. The food was 10/10 and the service was excellent.
