"Overall the hotel was very good, staff very helpful, location at the city centre. However, hot breakfast was lacking for vegetarians like us, the toaster was pathetic with everyone waiting long to get toast. "

"This property was amazing. Always had a private hot spring available mid day during breaks between going out. We also tried their traditional dinner and I think it was worth the price of trying. Smoking rooms were comfortable and clean as well. Also the Yukata free rental was a nice touch."

"Helpful, pleasant and amazingly efficient staff with solid English skills. The restaurant offers international favorites at reasonable prices and we loved the bakery breakfast options before heading out for sightseeing. I recommend taking a taxi to/from Kyoto station when arriving or departing the hotel. Life is good."

"This hotel is the cutest hotel. I would expect the staff is absolutely impeccable. Very nice very welcoming. The hotel is super clean and the cherry on the top of the cake is this very beautiful hot springs inside the hotel, I could almost spend my whole day in it Highly recommended for someone who wants some authenticity and kindness and a relaxing hotel. Oh, and did I mention that they offer Ramen at night and you have free ice cream after the spa !!! 🙏"

"The hotel is charming, great breakfast buffet, conveniently located to many temples and shrines, and facilities were very nice. Small gym and laundry room. Staff was very nice and eager to help. Room was comfortable and quiet. Would stay here again next time I visit Kyoto."
