Very clean and quiet hotel

The staff was really helpful. We needed to check-in late at the last minute and they were very helpful and patient with us. The facilities are very nice.

Beautiful hotel/pub with a great location near the beach. The room was comfortable with all amenities and some lovely personal touches (the toiletries were excellent and the homemade chocolate treats were, well, a treat!) The food in the pub was also great. Will stay again!

We always choose to stay at this hotel when we are in the area. Superb service and accommodations.

Perfect hotel to relax and unwind in between traveling. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful.

Loved this hotel. The location was great. The price was good. The staff was friendly. And it was clean, they took care of us. I would 100% stay here again. I would say there should be some upgrades made to the tv to be bigger, a more comfortable mattress, and if there was a way to make the floors less squeaky that’d be great. But overall it was a great stay.

Off the beaten track little gem of an hotel. Historic, local railway station forms site of today's hotel. Still has vintage rolling stock at platform. Very friendly, warm welcome from all staff. Good restaurant, with varied menu. Comfortable, clean rooms, with children and dog friendly grounds.

Bit tricky to get in but very clean and comfortable and great breakfast

As always the Captains Club hotel was excellent!
