"This was a wonderful hotel situated on the hill over looking whitby, with easy access to the town and harbour , although it is under going work updating the rooms and building It will not put my off going back. Hotel was spotless, clean and a very helpful hotel team"

"Anne and Michael are great hosts nothing to much trouble the europa is a clean and very well kept bb beds are lovely and comfortable breakfast is great Michael is a dab hand in the kitchen thank you both for our short stay definitely will be back in the near future"

"I was made to feel welcome from the start. Lovely room, very clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely and the homemade marmalade was delicious. I enjoyed the convenient location and had free parking outside. I would definitely recommend. Thanks for a wonderful visit Tamsin. Nicola"

"We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing stay, the room was so clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The instructions were also very clear regarding check in/out and parking. We would definitely recommend and would choose argyle house when back in Whitby. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"When we arrived we received a warm welcome, Claire explained the parking process and all we needed to do. The bedroom was clean and comfy. We opted for breafast, what a good decision that was, it was delicious, one of the best full English breakfasts I have had, certainly filled us up ready for the day. A couple of evenings we popped into the bar for a drink, the staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend Granby Hotel if visiting Whitby"
