Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!
Very friendly hosts, felt like a true bnb experience. I am very allergic to dogs tho (there are two on the property) and felt like I was always a little sneezy waking up in the morning.

We stayed at Hotel Stella for 4 nights in July while on our 30th Anniversary trip and had a wonderful experience. Our room was on the top floor attached to the upper patio/balcony with an amazing view of the ocean. Stephan, the owner, was extremely helpful. He gave us information about restaurants, how to get about town, and was a fantastic host. My friends and I loved staying at Hotel Vesuvio. It's just a five minute walk to the train station to enjoy all of Cinque Terra and the ferry stop to go to Portofino and Santa Margarita was across the street. There are plenty of restaurants, some cool 11th century ruins, and a daily farmers market all within walking distance. We has a "family suite" with a balcony overlooking beautiful harbor. Impressed by an updated and specious room with a huge balcony and spectacular view. Clean overall, a bit tight shower, but other perks are worth it. Great pool and check out at 12pm is a plus too.
