We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port.

Such a lovely stay! This small adults only hotel, just 5 rooms, is on the owner Anne's property, new and beautifully designed and maintained. They've recently added a gym, yoga area, sauna and steam room which we enjoyed very much. Anne and her team seemed to have a 6th sense whenever we needed something and were always there to help. Hotel Moderne is an elegant gem in the busy centre of Porto-Vecchio. Arrival and departure were very easy -- we communicated via Expedia/WhatsApp beforehand, and Joana sent clear instructions for driving to the drop-off spot directly in front of the hotel, and for the private gated parking a 5-minute stroll away, which even had a charging point for our electric car -- so convenient (don't forget to reserve in advance)! Traveling around Corsica, we really enjoyed this beautiful place and only wished that we’d booked a few more nights. Our room was spacious with a nice balcony, and the bed was comfortable. The secluded premises included, among other things, a very nice private beach. The restaurant, Omea Beach, was great for both breakfast and dinner (it didn't offer lunch). The free parking was also convenient. Service was impeccable.
