"My room was clean and comfortable. I slept good, better then other hotels I’ve stayed at. The noise level at night was very minimal, just a train at 2:30am one of the three nights I stayed, he blew his whistle because they had a road crossing by there. Didn’t hear much noise through the walls, there were people above me and each side of me. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water and the toilet flushed real good. I had a king bed and it was comfortable, no sag in it. The place was on the older side but it was kept up. The TV remote was easy to figure out and use, unlike some hotels that you can’t hardly use because you can’t figure it out. I had a good stay here and would stay again. There is plenty of parking. The staff was helpful as I requested a ground level room because I have a bad knee and can’t walk up and down stairs, there’s no elevator, and they got me at ground level. "This property was definitely on the older side and could use some renos. All of the towels in my room were stained, and the kleenex boxes left empty. I don't think one single staff member greeted me during the 3 nights I stayed there. They just sat behind the desk or walked about but never said hello or even smiled. "

"The rooms are very spacious. Not your typical cookie cutter motel room design. Felt genuinely relaxed in the space. They do not have smart TV’s so no streaming available, was told upgrades are planned for spring. Not a deal breaker for me during this stay but just something to note. River views and balconies drew me to choose this property. Proximity to hiking areas but also Convenient to Brattleboro for funky downtown shops and restaurants. Recommend Echo Lounge for good food and drinks. Highly recommend staying here. "
