Just a typical weekend stay.. nothing special. Most rooms do not have refrigerators... so we brought our own... no microwave either.. we made sandwiches... not roughing it... but it was a nice trip. Restaurants are took faraway to go out to eat. Come prepared to eat in!!
It was great. A lot of people shy away from independent hotels which I believe is the reason for any negative reports on this property. A river view room opened up and we enjoyed our trip immensely.
Trains and Barge traffic added to the ambiance, not a detractor at all. The view of the bridge was amazing.

Moon River is located downtown. There is a café on the corner that serves the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. The owner was amazing and we had communal breakfast every day at 8:30. This gave us an opportunity to swap stories and adventures and plan our next day in Maysville. I would definitely stay again.
The STAFF was AMAZING, Let my baseball team use the meeting room since we got rained out on Saturday. It saved us..we had lunch/dinner as a team and a meeting and prayer at night. Thank you so very much!!

The room with 2 double beds was large and clean. It had a microwave and it had a refrigerator with a separate freezer. The room came with a little table and 2 chairs that was very nice for working on the computer. The breakfast is nice and includes fruits, cereals, juices, and pastries. The housekeeper does a great job.
We had an exellent stay and great serivce our tv and wifi wouldnt work in our room and they were fast at helping us get antoher room with a discount
