"The desk staff were probably the best of any hotel I've ever been at. We had some issue with noisy children in the adjoining room on our first night and I called down and the person at the desk took care of it and the noise stopped minutes later. When it started again in the morning I went down to the front desk and without question, and a gracious smile, we were offered a new room that was quite quiet. For the price, this was a great stay. For triple the price, I would have wanted a hotel that had more sound proof rooms, a smart TV, and a working pool (it was out of order). Otherwise, everything else was great. "

"Front desk staff was so kind and helpful. Bathroom was the cleanest hotel bathroom I think I’ve ever had. We booked here because it was last minute and getting a room in Manhattan was impossible without spending a crazy amount of money. Now I think I’d definitely go there again. Super easy to get down into the city. Easy to get to from outside of the city. Super close to the zoo and Botanical Gardens. Great experience all in all. "

"There’s a great vibe here—easy going and comfort with style. The staff was friendly and helpful, even over the phone. Coffee and snacks at $3-4 each made the mornings great. NYC tourists are near a 1 train at 181st to head straight downtown with the bonus of but a diverse neighborhood and nearby parks and waterfront. A king suite was a perfect fit for a family of three with older child, plus had a stellar uptown view. "
