Soooo... We have an open mind and are very tolerant of a lot. The hotel was clean, there was parking, and almost everything in the room was functional. The staff were all very nice, and they mostly knew what was happening in the building.
However.
1. The side of the room with the bed had no power - no outlets or anywhere to plug in a CPAP or phone. So, we moved the bed to the other side of the room.
2. The phone in the room had had the line cut, snapped off. The front desk guy was surprised, but made a note. Somewhere. In the 6 days and 5 nights we were there, no attempt was made to replace the cord so the phone would work.
3. The towels were closer to napkins than anything else. You could see through them.
4. Multiple times, when we were in the lobby we were overhearing negotiations for hourly rates and overnights with no luggage... Nightly on the weekends, people left their doors propped open in the deadbolt and as people came and went (in every sense) it would bang shut. All night. Couldn't call the front desk (See #2).
5. The "parking lot" is an area of blacktop where cars just fit themselves in wherever they can. There's not nearly enough parking for the whole hotel, so it's good we were there at a time when it wasn't full..
That was our experience of the LIV Hotel..
