Everything was immaculate and perfect except for one thing, the hot water in the shower would run out relatively quick. Aside from this, I would highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel was the highlight of our trip. The property is located quite a ways from the main road, deep inside the jungle; however ‘going the extra mile’ is completely worth the experience. Upon arrival, the hotel staff greeted us with a ‘Welcome’ juice and checked us in our bungalow, which was located right next to the small river running by the hotel. Wonderful and very well kept small hotel with impeccable service and an absolutely beautiful dual-aspect junior suite we stayed in. Very very comfortable bed. Lovely food and breakfast with a stunning view over the hills and up to the mountains of the holy triangle.
I arrived at the hotel at night. It was dark and snakey drive up to the hotel. Can't see much at night.
However, when daylight comes, the place looks amazing. It is right in the middle of the tea plantations and I had the pleasure to see the lovely ladies plucking the teas.
I hanged out at the lobby (which is outdoor) most of the time as it was raining during the whole afternoon.
I did not went out during my stay except to the tea factory tour.

Had an incredible experience staying here and seeing it in person far exceeded what I expected from the photographs. The host was extremely helpful, the breakfast and dinner was so delicious and they have all the activities to book on sight making it a one stop shop. We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
