I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens.
Very nice, helpful staff. Good quality free breakfast. The rooms have been fully updated but unfortunately ours still smelled like cigarette smoke, so we just slept with the window cracked open. The hotel is not near the city center/train station but it is easy to catch a cab to the train station (Gare de Beauvais) for around 10 euros. Good Wifi.
I actually did not realize it was a bed-and-breakfast before I got there. I thought it was an actual hotel. But once I got into the swing of understanding what it was, it was delightful. I had a room in what looks like a converted barn, where breakfast was served below in my room, looking like it was a converted hayloft. And it was magnificent. I would totally recommend this place.
