My wife and I are on a 5 week trip around central, eastern and northern Spain. When visiting bigger..or pricier...cities we like to stay a bit out of town in a 4 star place which is inexpensive and yet has great accessibility to its main city. The Hotel K10 in rural Urnieta is perfect: only 12 mins by train from San Sebastian (and a 10 min, delightful walk through nice country and a bit of the town to get to the station), plus regular and cheap train service. Highly recommended.
A perfect location in a smaller beach town with an infinity pool that overlook the bay and offer a few minute walk to the beach. The boutique Hotel has an amazing organic aesthetic, and amazing interiors and external gardens. Breakfast is incredible with an amazing group of two folks that go above and beyond on service, so kind and are ahead of you on any need. A wonderful spot to rest and recharge for a few days - the thalasso was a unique touch and it was wonderful to have so many amenities on sight. The front desk staff were especially kind.
The room with a view was spectacular. We were comfortable and enjoyed watching the surfers and sunset.This was a very peaceful and restful stop for us.
This place is quiet and rooms are spacious for Europe. We used the bus BU13 to go to the old city several times and it worked well for us. Breakfast is of great quality. The girls at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We will definitely repeat this hotel next time
Excellent and affordable place to stay in Astigarraga, near San Sebastian. Great cider houses nearby for lunch and dinner. Parking is found on the street, but the rooms are clean, modern, and basic in room size. Book a room when prices in Donostia get out of control.
We had an incredible stay at Hotel Zerupe! All of the front desk staff were so friendly and had great recommendations for the area. The location cannot be beat- you can easily walk to restaurants, gelato, shops, and the beach! The hotel was very clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The hotel is in the pedestrian only area of the city, so you will need to walk about a block from where a car might drop you off to get to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, and I hope I get the chance...
