This is a beautiful place. It is quite outside the city, though. It is extremely quiet and has very nice scenery. The service is the type is offered to celebrities. The reception staff are extremely professional and helpful and, most importantly, trustworthy. They try to protect you and will alert you if you are being taken advantage while paying for local activities and other shopping services. The chef is one of the best chefs that I happen to know. The food was fantastic, the staff BAKED fresh gluten-free bread for my wife when we informed them that she has issues with gluten!! They were polite and efficient. I even made Bajra rotis for her. The staff was wonderful, helped us to our room with heavy luggage, tended to our needs, amazing breakfast and really a beautiful historical place in India - I wished I could have stayed longer there.
Where do we start ? The stay at Taj Amer was above and beyond our expectations. Truly Incredible property with the nicest staff. As guests we were treated exceptionally, plus the food was delicious!!!
The whole hotel gives luxury vibes. The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms were large and very spacious. The property is beautiful with many picturesque spots.
Few things which can be improved -
1. The bed linens’ quality and cleanliness can be improved. The pillow covers were a bit small for the pillows and the comforter cover had stains on it near the leg. They also looked very old and could be refreshed.

Other reviews knocked points for the location, which is outside Jaipur city, but since we had a car and driver this was no matter to us. It proved a quiet respite from the hectic city and a truly wonderful experience. Certainly one of the best hotels throughout our say in India. Hesitant to write this review only because I hope for it to remain a hidden gem but too good not to share. Thank you, Umaid Haveli staff.
