Very clean and staff helpful. After my first night I was not able to adjust the air conditioning and my son had the same problem.

Located in an adorable small village surrounded by grape vines. Ample hiking opportunity out the back door. Freshly refurbished with simple but tasteful elements. Staff aims to please and presents you with a goodie basket after check in.

The room was nice, simple, and clean. It was quiet. I did not have breakfast. The ladies at check-in were very pleasant and competent.

Most excellent location, has underground parking, adjacent to Casino and walking to shopping, dining and thermal spa. We booked our stay last minute as usual, but got a great room with view of city. Breakfast buffet was on point, good choices. Royal Spa use is free, fee for other treatments.

I was there to work with a show at the Festspielhaus (performing arts theater). The hotel is directly across the street from the theater. Breakfast is complementary and fulfilling (fruit, meats, croissants & breads, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, some vegetables). Small grocery store across the street for bottled water and snacks. Italian, Spanish and Pizza restaurant less than a block away. Theater restaurant open on show nights - sufficient. Ate there twice. The decor and ambiance comes right out of the book, and the dining is beyond compare. I particularly loved the included breakfast buffet - inviting you to make yourself gourmet sandwiches to take for later in the day as you enjoy the town.

Amazing little local gem. Conveniently located to visit Baden Baden, close to the main road and less than 2 hours to Frankfurt airport, free parking is a bonus. The facility is newly renovated, clean and well run. The owner/manager is always available and extremely helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed but based on the menu it must be exceptional. Very happy with our last minute decision to stop here. Perfect value for the money.

Very clean, modern hotel. Nice friendly staff that are always helpful. Excellent breakfast is served in the AM. The quirky part is that the bathroom is very much apart of the room...just small glass dividers. It is not a good situation if there are two people unless you are REALLY together. The hotel does not have AC. Also ask for a room on the upper floors otherwise you are very exposed to the street. Have stayed a couple of times; will stay again.

I stayed in 3 hotels in Germany, and Hotel Merkur was my favorite. The location is incredible, it is right in downtown Baden Baflden, you can walk to anything. The breakfast was exceptional, again by far my favorite of the 3 hotels i stayed at in germany. I had a double room, the room was huge, and there was a ton of storage space, it felt like a suite.
