Beautiful building and grounds. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Adequate parking. Nice breakfast options.

It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.

Lives up to it's high end expectations , stayed in the Filby room, very spacious and well decorated whilst complimenting the character features. Bathtub 5/5 ❤️. Staff very attentitive , very helpful. Some minor bits within the hotel could do with some TLC such as the grouting in the shower, again that is us being picky and this is minor. We stayed for the roast in the resturant , this was flawless.

Very nice place overall. Clean, friendly and close to town centre, with all amenities catered for. Would definitely return.

Me and my family stayed here twice over the past three weeks and we really enjoyed our stays. In the height of summer the air-con was such a blessing, as the other hotels we have stayed in did not have ac, which made sleep incredibly difficult. The staff (in general) were pleasant and accommodating. We stayed in a stadium facing room, which the kids loved but the rooms are a bit tired and could do with a refurb. One of our bathrooms had water damage on the ceiling, which was concerning and...

The room was large with a bed, sofa table and chairs. The kitchen seemed well stocked, although we were only there for one night so did not cook. The only problem was parking, found parking in a multi-storey two streets away. We would stay here again as it was close to Cathedral, town centre and not too far from castle.

No frills but great location, clean and quiet

I stayed for 5 days and it was the second time I have been a guest there. The drive through the beautiful tree lined driveway is beautiful, reminds me of Forest Gump movie. Checking in was problem free, the food excellent, drinks lovely and bar personnel so kind. You won't be disappointed. Everyone is lovely and so kind and respectful. Close to town and site seeing sites.

Absolutely wonderful, breakfast is cooked to perfection, rooms are quiet and efficient, Staff is very nice and very helpful.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Wonderful landing spot in Norwich! Clean, bright, spacious, and cozy room, calm and friendly atmosphere, and super kind, responsive hosts. Great location too; easy walk to the city centre, but peaceful and beautiful residential neighborhood.

Nice well managed property / country club. Convenient if you have activities around Norwich. Not unexpected but driving to property is on Norfolk country roads (last 6 miles) can be challenging at night.

Close to train station. Walkable to city center.

Lovely little English country inn. Great food & beer, friendly staff, nice room. Loved staying here.
