Slightly outdated decor but very clean and tidy. Generous amount of tea & coffee provisions provided. Bathroom in room 3 was a bit cramped and it wasn't possibly to stand up in the shower owing to the low ceiling/staircase. Good value for money, especially considering the relatively last minute timing of my booking. Well located for the city centre and the railway station.

We only stayed one night and it was excellent value for money. It was a Friday night so the nightclub downstairs was open but the noise didn't bother us. Room was warm with a TV and also a well stocked tea and coffee tray. The bathroom was also clean.

It has reputation of being noisy, especially on Friday & Saturday nights when the nightclub below the hotel is in full swing. However, although it is noisy, I was given earplugs by the reception staff and I slept reasonably well. I was in room 5, to the rear of the hotel at the rear, and it was very quiet on the other nights.

returning customer, my go to place in Norwich, , excellent position, close to the train station, plenty of bars and eateries and a Tesco right opposite. The building is not new, the furniture might seem dated but very functional and no visible defects and had a very good sleep , very comfy bed and all linesn and bathroom and everything else very clean. I will be back

Nothing. Not really a hotel but rooms above a ? pub? night club. Very noisy, loud music until after 3am. No lift service and rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors. Old building.

Parking was awkward and the room amenities were very dated but the location of the property was next to loads of clubs and shops, and the room did the job just as intended.. for somewhere to sleep once you’re all partied out!

Excellent location. Very near to bars and restaurants. Within walking distances to shopping centres and historic buildings. Reasonable price. Only thumb down is that the shower holder was broken, no WiFi working in the room and confusing light switches but we were satisfied to stay there.

This is a great budget option for a short stay in Norwich. We had seen the reviews warning about the noise from the nightclub below so came prepared with earplugs, unfortunately they didn't block the noise. Bed and room were comfortable, probably better for a midweek stay.

Overall It met my requirements and was close to the station and centre. The room was clean and quiet although reached by steep stairs. The shower provided hot water easily. There were two lamps but I couldn't figure out how to work the main light. I used the television for BBC 1 news but could only get very quiet sound possibly to avoid disturbing other guests. On two of my thtee nights coffee etc was not replenished and on my final night nothing had been done in the room. There were problems with the key card s and one night someone came in the room. Despite this I was satisfied. Equipment in the bathroom was new and worked.Staff were rarely to be seen and on arrival the young man failed to take my bag up the flights of steps despite my age. Breakfast is not available but I. was aware of this and saw noone in the morning at all Many places nearby for meals.

Very friendly reception and welcome. Clean bed linen and bathroom. Fresh towels daily. Overall, it needs refurbishment. Great value for money and good location. Street noise was loud but I wasn't bothered by this. Tea and instant coffee provided in the room. Overall, friendly and good value for the price😊

I believe it was value for money, basic but clean and staff were supportive and efficient. No central heating, only a wall heater so room was cold during the night. Needs a bigger duvet as was too slim even for a single bed! Excellent location for station and centre. On main road but back rooms very quiet. Busy road with bars and clubs, good shops for essentials and variety restaurants.

Handy for the station but property has seen better days. Owners obs doing it up where they can but overpriced for the current run down condition. I knew it was above a nightclub and was warned by the manager again before registering- but the drum and bass was very very loud and vibrated the building. It was clean and I slept. Eventually.

For the Price, its good value.

Good location for ease of access to the City. Friendly Hosts. Comfortable beds. For what it cost it was value for money. Fixtures and Fittings needs some maintenance. Bathroom door needs a lock. Room needs a blast out with a duster an vacuum. Cant complain at all. Good value for money, just needs a few bits sorting out. Thank You!

No breakfast. Noisy when folk coming and going banging doors. Beds stained many times sheet, mattress and mattress cover, urine i suspect. Felt rushed on entering premises, not that welcoming or polite. But the room okay, clean shower, toilet, toiletries and tea and coffee. Coffee dried milk was awful. Best buy own milk. End of one night, no where other than floor through hatch to throw key.,

Really unpleasant, stay away.

Room was really awful. I really wish I had gotten a taxi home in retrospect, rather than staying the night. The hotel owner was thoughtful, and did give advice on checking in after 10 pm, which was helpful. But the accommodation itself is just so unpleasant. Really strong smell of smoke, room is extremely cold and the electric heater is broken (it does turn on, but I have tried multiple settings and it won't produce heat). My clothes still smell of smoke (I don't smoke) after a night in the room. Would like a refund.

its rough around the edges but the room was clean and the staff was very helpful nothing was to much trouble. only thing is that it is above a night club but that didn't effect sleep much.
