Room was clean and spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful, a/c worked very well, room decor was intentional and practical. Breakfast was very good, too!
Very friendly and helpful staff. There is only street parking, but not hard to find, behind the hotel area. So many restaurants right there. Drove to the most famous Cretan beaches, but the local beach is also very nice. very picturesque. We could see the lighthouse from our window.
My and my boyfriend really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was hospitable and helpful, trying to make your stay comfortable. Our room was well-cleaned daily. It had two separate beds, one next to another, two bedside lamps, wardrobe, desk with two chairs, mirrror and little fridge. We booked room with beautiful sea view (little more expensive) from large balcony with small plastic table and two chairs. If it comes to bathroom, shower was little annoying beacuse of small shower tray - after taking...
A cozy boutique hotel with lovely front desk staff ! And of course the lovely Froso! Great location for access to downtown Chania . Well insulated for noise ..parking a little challenging if there were more cars but for downtown Chania that is a luxury ! Strongly recommend for those needing a city location ..
A lovely hotel, very close to the beach, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing, served à la carte with fresh and delicious options every morning. The staff were wonderful too — kind, helpful, and always welcoming. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean place with great service and a perfect location near the beach.
The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, spoke great English. The breakfasts were excellent and full of variety each morning. The hotel is central to everything in the 'Old Town'.
The only thing I would have liked to know before arriving there is that you cannot take your car into the 'Old Town' and parking it somewhat difficult to find.
We stayed for four nights at Splanzia. It is a very comfortable hotel with large and clean rooms, and is located in a nice area with easy walking access to the old harbour, shopping and eating places. The people at Splanzia are very knowledgeable and helpful, and their recommendations on things to see, do and eat gave us a great sampler of Chania and its surrounding areas.
We would love to be back!
The best check-in experience ever. Don't hesitate, the cost of this hotel is worth every single penny. The staff is not only polite, but incredibly helpful. From the moment we stepped out of our cab plenty of staff were available, at our service, and already taking our bags before stepping foot into the property. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. I regret not taking advantage of the spa. 10/10!
The hotel is perfectly placed for seeing all of the old port and we had a room that looked onto the port itself. No review, however, can fail to mention the now-legendary George, whose family has owned this place for decades and who offers wonderful recommendations for restaurants and beaches and other not-to-be-missed sites. Actually it was a young woman at the desk (whose name I sadly didn’t catch) who recommended we switch our planned visit to Elifonissi beach to Falasarna. Brilliant! Turns...
Very clean hotel, super clean room and breakfast area and the breakfast was amazing! The staff was always very happy to help and assisted us with a big smile, all the time!
This is a beautiful and modern hotel directly across from the sea (two beaches right across the street). I stayed in the luxury suites and had a great experience. The infinity pool is beautiful and overlooks the sea (you also overlook the road, which is unavoidable). Unlike other hotels I have stayed in Crete, the poolside bar remains open late into the evening even after the pool is closed to swimming and the cocktails are good. The breakfast buffet is very good, especially if you like a...
