I absolutely loved the Decoy Barn and John and Suzanne were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and so beautifully prepared. There were lots of options to choose from. There are many interesting places to visit in the area! I can’t wait to go back! Their little dog Buddy is very friendly and loves to chase his ball. Just back from a great three day stay. The staff were wonderful (special shout out to Mike who couldn't do enough for us and the lovely ladies in the bar/restaurant) We stayed in one of the coach house rooms with our dog and the whole hotel is very dog friendly (including the breakfast sausage served every morning) Lovely new facilities with great bathrooms and showers. This is a great location near the beach. The hotel has gone some renovations and looks very nice. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was okay for the price. Overall we had a very nice time and will go back again in the near future.
It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.
I stayed at the Wolf Inn's guest house which operated an entry system through a door code. This worked well and gave me 24/7 access to my room which was great. The room was a decent size for me but may be a little tight for two people if they have lots of luggage. Although we were unable to secure an accessibke room for my Mother, the staff were wonderful in accommodating us and were helpful and friendly. Great location, close to the beach an attractions. On street parking was a challenge but only because there are fireworks on Wednesdays during the summer.
