Very helpful staff on arrival. Best hotel in Penang’s historical district. I did encounter a problem st checkin though. I believe that breakfast was included with the room. They claim it was not ands I looked at my Expedia receipt and it was not. I don’t fault the hotel but Expedia for this. It’s like bait and switch!
Everyone was very kind and concerned about our experience. The hotel is beautiful and located on the edge of the historic area. The rooms are comfortable. They serve an amazing breakfast and tea. When on the first day, restaurant staff learned I was a vegetarian, they went and made special food for me! Then, afterwards they checked in with me to make sure I had a good selection. Quite amazing. A wonderful choice in Penang.

My room had no windows and there was no breakfast included; but the hotel and room were both clean and the price was right. There were at least two 118 hotels in town. This one was close to the main bus terminal. So it was easy to get to Batu Ferringhi beach and to/from the airport. Everywhere else in Georgetown I walked to...
The room was perfectly sized and well equipped. The same goes for the bathroom - large, with a perfectly sized shower stall. The rooftop bar - great place with a great view. Very helpful staff. Perfect location - between the old and new towns. On the downside, the windows in the room didn't open fully, and the breakfast was average. But I still want to go back.
