"This is a fabulous hotel. Our room was wonderful and the quality of the food was amazing. Most importantly, the staff were so kind and accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit."

Scalloway Hotel

"Really nice little hotel. As two tall Americans, we found the bed a bit small, but we understand that is to be expected in Europe. It would have been convenient to have power outlets on both sides of the bed. But those are little things. We loved the location and it was very convenient to explore Shetland."
The Queen's Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were super helpful, even allowing me to check in and check out a little early to accommodate my other plans."
Fort Charlotte Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely place, excellent location , great folks running the house and abundantly helpful for anyone going there for the first time. Thank you also for the book recommendation. Great easy stay. Will absolutely go back"
Brae Hotel
8/10 Good
"With Cruise ships blighting Lerwick, this country hotel overlooking the sea was a good find. a very individual inn, not quirky but functional. Showing it's age just a tad but would certainly say that it is good value for money (includes a cooked breakfast). Great location for visiting the northern islands of Yell and Unst as well as Scalloway and North Mavine. Roads on Shetland, especially the A Roads are well engineered and maintained so you can get everywhere on Mainland in an hour from here if you have hire car."

"Across the street from the ferry terminal is exceptionally convenient!"
Lerwick Hotel

"A very nice room although I found the bed a bit soft. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. I ate in the restaurant twice but recommend eating at some of the restaurants in town."
