"From the moment we exited our taxi on arrival Marcus at the front desk made us feel welcomed, it was warm outside & he treated us to cool towels & chilled beverages. The staff are friendly & very helpful, navigating the property is quite easy once you follow the signs plus there’s a shuttle service that transports you around. The views from the room & the roof top are absolutely stunning. Papa Dons for dinner is recommended, the breakfast

"Its a nice resort outside rooms - available pool and seating, chef and bar and nice outdoor atmosphere. Very walkable to the mall, grocery and food stalls nearby etc. However there was an Issue with cleanliness of rooms and condition of amenities inside. Towels provided seemed to be stained - looked like makeup, not sure; used toilet paper and condition of shower, shower head and kitchen weren’t in the best condition. Also did not see a microwave but there was a fridge."

"We moved here for the last 4 days of our time on St Lucia having stayed at a more expensive hotel. We really wished we had spent the whole holiday here. We stayed in a luxury suite with a balcony overlooking the bay which was delightfully. The grounds are so tropical with seating around the gardens. "We spent one week at BGBR with our 4 and 7 year old and we were so sad to leave! The scale of the resort is perfectly manageable, it feels rather boutique-y and has a good mix of demographics. "The food here is worth choir singing praises. Every meal was savory and mouthwateringly delicious. The beachside food truck had a jerk chicken special that had me under a towel eating during a quick rainfall, could not put it down. The rooms were nice offering great views. "Overnight stay after staying at Sandals for a week. We liked the room overall. Bed was comfortable. We stayed on a saturday night and there is a music venue close by that was rather loud until about 1:30am. it really didnt keep us awake but just be aware. The onsite restaurant was on the expensive side, $50 usd per person for a buffet. Not to mention they have a bug zapper just above the food service area. Breakfast
