The owners and staff were delightful to interact and chat with-- The room was clean and comfortable, views were fabulous and keyless entry was convenient. Close to town and shops and restaurants.. Highly recommend!

Great location, clean rooms, excellent customer service.

My girlfriend and I started here on our first visit to the Whiteface/Lake Placid area for new years. The hotel is very close to Whiteface ski area. Al, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, gave us plenty of information on what was in the area. The continental breakfast served every day was one of the best I've ever had! It's not a resort by any means, but the room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place to run away for an overnight or more. Beautiful view, lovely room, friendly staff, awesome pool and spa, frig and coffee/tea in room...actually tea was initially missing in room, but they brought me tea bags-2 regular and 2 peppermint. Fire in great room with magnificent view. Bar was closed, but we brought our own bottle and played scrabble by the fire.

Our stay at the Interlaken Inn was wonderful! Owner Casey and staff member Heather could not have been friendlier or more responsive to our requests and comfort. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we could want. Our room was beautiful and breakfast in the morning was much better than your typical continental offerings! We were even given a handwritten thank you note when we checked out! If you are in Lake Placid you should chose to stay at the Interlaken Inn! You won't...

This was the most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in. From the phone call prior to checking in, to the check in, to the stay, and even the checkout. I couldn't be any happier with the service provided! Staying here is more like staying with family that you actually like. I cannot wait for my next stay!

awesome hotel, except parking is tough

Excellent location, family ownd and they really care about the property. We have stayed here twice and both times were great. Nice suite and more importantly, very clean.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and easy parking. The only issue was that there was no hair dryer in the room. I guess I'm so used to that being an automatic amenity that I didn't take notice it wasn't on the list when booking. Otherwise, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend it. We also ate at the restaurant, and the food was very good, and the staff was super nice.

We like it all. The cabin is warm and roomy. Our dinners were perfect. Thanks for being there. Mary and Richard

What was unique about the property was the friendly staff. Always available and privately owned. They could not have been any more gracious and welcoming. What we didn't like was that the walls between the rooms were very thin. You could hear everything from the room next door.

Loved the extras - the availability of coffee, the grab and go breakfast and the evening popcorn.

The lodge is beautiful inside and out and so are the staff. My room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the s'mores and the game room. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful. I will defenately go back, and highly recommend.

I’m not a fan of the half glass shower wall, with the water running all over the floor. But everything else was great
