Solo traveller, making his way through NY state and Vermont, it was great to see that hospitality was still alive and well after a few dubious experiences on previous nights.
Accommodation was as expected, clean, comfortable and convenient, particularly enjoyed the extra large tv!
Restaurant at the Inn, surpassed expectations! Perfect welcome, warm and friendly greeting. Treated as well as one of the locals which is my previous grievance of some other hotels, bars, restaurants etc in the region.
Food was fantastic and I had attentive staff throughout the meal to make sure everything was up to scratch. I guess if nobody checks your meal is OK it's because they probably know it's not that great, again, previous experience.
On drinks, had the best Mojhitos outside of the Carribean and Paris! So all round awesome experience. This team knows what's important in an age where the service industry seems to be in decline.
Only thing lacking was maybe an accessible coffee machine, but I am a caffeine addict.
