Everywhere in Wales people have been friendly, but the cream of the friendliness was this place and their staff. They made you feel like family.

The evening staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and clean. Hotel entrance was hard to find, however once we did everything was great. Very convenient to the city center and the Cardiff Castle.

Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rich in history and full of character—and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience. Outstanding staff and customer service. Everything was amazing. Breakfast can be a little for the price it costs or just lower the price of it. Otherwise truly exceptional.

The stay at Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay was very pleasant. It is a fairly short walk from the train station (and the city centre) and quite close to Cardiff Bay. The staff were very pleasant even finding a room before the check in time. They have been pretty helpful and polite throughout our stay. The room was nice, clean and modern with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Though it wasn't more spacious both the room and the en suite bathroom were adequate size. Breakfast was included...
