Excellent stay at Art Hotel. The comfortable and quiet room was exactly what I needed. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff made an extra effort to provide plenty of vegan options at breakfast, which I really appreciated. The hotel is located across from a prison and next to a cemetery! Thjis is a small but very charming hotel conveniently located in the heart of Chisinau. It appears to have been recently renovated, so everything was new and spotlessly clean. It offerred amenities important to travellers, including morning breakfast, a coffee bar, and a small, but very useful, self-serve washer/dryer. The single rooms range from small to very small, but are very adequate for single travellers. I will book it again.

I chose the hotel because it looked newer, and that was correct. They were not that busy. The staff was very nice. It took them some time to activate our room cards, and when we got to the room, it would not open. Apparently, the door batteries were dead. They offered us another room, and 10 minutes later, they upgraded to the suite apartment, that was really nice, and spacious. Also, there is plenty of space in the bathrooms. Nice breakfast, too. This hotel truly surprised us as the actual rooms and property look even more beautiful and luxurious than the photos. Our room had two queen beds and it was huge, with high ceilings. Beautiful carpeting and decorations, in the room as well as the lobby and hallways. Bathroom was spotless. Double curtains, bedding was crispy white and beds were comfortable.
