Learn more about Twin Lakes
Glide across Lake Mary in a kayak, where fish dart beneath your paddle like aquatic phantoms. The Ice Age Trail offers a surprisingly wild escape, with deer often appearing at twilight as if by appointment. Lake Elizabeth's shores become impromptu community gatherings on summer evenings as locals bring folding chairs and fishing rods. The village transforms on weekends when visitors arrive, turning waterfront restaurants into buzzing hubs. Twin Lakes Private Park Beach provides a perfect swimming spot, though savvy visitors prefer the less crowded Elizabeth Lake Nature Preserve. Winter brings ice fishing shelters popping up like a miniature village while snowmobilers create their own highway system across the frozen lakes.

Abbey Resort and Avani Spa
8/10 Good
"Stay was great! Only complaint is that our sheets had blood spots on them when we got there. Spoke to front desk person and housemaid came and put new clean sheets on. Beautiful resort."
The Cove Of Lake Geneva
8/10 Good
"Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with check in as the front desk staff told us the incorrect entrance to unload our luggage. Other than that, the staff were pleasant and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. We had a loft suite which was plenty of room for our family of 4. The only issue was that the air conditioner was not able to cool the upstairs bedroom. It was very convenient to have a kitchen in the suite as we were able to have breakfast before we set out for the day. This hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Lake Geneva and many restaurants and fast food places. A Walmart and Aldi were less than 10 minutes drive. Would definitely return here!"
Comfort Suites Lake Geneva East
10/10 Excellent
"Stephanie, the GM at the front desk was fantastic! She was extremely helpful, informative and friendly. Our room was spacious, breakfast was good, our toddlers LOVED the kiddy pool… we’ll definitely be back!"

Great Wolf Lodge Illinois

"The property was dated, not many food choices, not much entertainment for adults outside of the water park area."
Lodge Geneva National

"Only one outlet in the room to plug in phone charger. I had to unplug night light to use outlet for cell phone charger. only one nightstand"
Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark
10/10 Excellent
"We recently stayed at Timber Ridge Lodge and overall there were definitely some things we really enjoyed, along with a few areas that could use improvement. One thing I really appreciated was having a full-size refrigerator and an electric stovetop in the room. The kitchen was also stocked with silverware, plates, cups, and even pots for cooking. We brought food with us for the kids, so having an actual kitchen setup instead of just a mini fridge was extremely convenient for our family. The room itself was a good size, but it could definitely use some updating and a deeper cleaning in certain areas. The kitchen sink had quite a bit of limescale buildup. The whirlpool/jacuzzi-style tub was another concern. There appeared to be mold or mildew buildup around some of the jet openings, and the drains looked like they could use a really thorough scrub. The pull-out couch turns into a queen-size bed, which sounded great in theory, but unfortunately it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. I slept on it the first night and my husband slept on it the second night, and we both had the same experience. If you’re planning on using the sofa bed for an adult, I would definitely keep that in mind. On the positive side, the waterpark was great! The kids really enjoyed it, and that was definitely one of the highlights of our stay."

Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Lake Geneva Resort by IHG

"It was disappointed to find out we had to pay an extra $120 for the water park. The photo of the booking is the water park but the property booked it’s extra at the resort. That was deceiving"
