"Pleasant room with lovely view. Very well situated. Access to the funicular a real treat. Good range of food options and super breakfast. Staff all very friendly but poorly trained and managed. We were variously told that we could/could not have a kettle; could/could not use the new terrace area at all; could/could not have a drink there; could/could not have a meal there. Room service unreliable - we were missing towels, bathmat, toilet roll on different days. Muzak in the public areas was absolutely deafening."

"Great place for a stopover and great value. The building is interesting as well as having a great design. Helpful staff and a good breakfast. Our only complaint would be that the room we had was really hot which was fine until you try to sleep. You can get fans for some of the rooms but we could have done with one each! Overall great stay!
