I really loved my stay here. It was a great deal and well worth it! Staff was extremely nice and chill. The breakfast was great; nice and warm! The room was just right, the bed was comfortable, and the tv was awesome. The heater worked great during the night and wasn't too loud. You do need to allow the water to heat up, but after like 2-3 minutes your good ^.^ Also wifi is available and works, at times (rarely) it would go in an out, but hey it's the UP---it's already a given you may have...

The Historic Birch Resort and Motel on Trout Lake was a spectacular find. What a hidden gem! It made for the perfect stay as my family of four explored this part of Michigan.
