We loved staying at The Boot in Repton. The staff was extremely helpful and the food was delicious! Considering breakfast was included in the room rate, it was well worth it.

Asked if we could get a coffee from the machine which was in the breakfast area but was asked to get cups from our room I found this rude and surprising, the person did not want the cups in the breakfast room to be used due to breakfast time in the morning
I grew up near Tutbury and spent many an evening in the "D&P" but this was my first stay visiting from the US. My visit could not have gone any better - the staff were all so helpful, the food was excellent and the room very comfortable. The room had everything I needed but it was a bit cold (but I'm from California and this was in November!). This was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet.
Apart from cleanliness, comfort, location and all of the others terms describing a hotel room, for me there is one essential factor, namely friendly welcoming staff. This was a lovely venue, we attended a friends wedding . Everything about the venue was great.
Unfortunately my hubby was taken ill, but the staff were amazing and cared for us both during this time. We will definitely stay here again in the future, hopefully he's not taken ill next time ..
