"The staff were EXCELLENT. The room we stayed in was questionable. Not clean. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room was very outdated. The electric amenities seemed unsafe, and the air conditioning worked well, but it made the bedding feel damp. We did not use the shower because the room was dirty. I was barefoot, and the bottom my feet were literally black from walking around in the room for only a few hours."

"Wasn’t thrilled with my stay. The rooms looked like they had recently had new flooring, but the rooms had a weird odor. After being in the room for awhile I got used to it. But when we left and returned you could smell it again. When I went to take a shower, some black crusty chunks came out from under the drain and the shower water had a sulphur odor. Being that it is a motel style facility, there, and the location, there was a lot of noise from the outside. That’s not the hotels fault, but still contributes to my overall satisfaction of a facility. Overall it was a room with a bed, but wasn’t somewhere I would choose to stay again."

"This inn is clear and staff are so nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and convenient. Only the room is dark on the daytime. Overall this inn is still good!"

"Rugs were dirty that my white socks turned black! Room view of the bay was terrible it had a huge air condition unit in the way of the view! It also made load noises that kept my wife and I up all night! I would not recommend doubletree to any of my family or friends! We were promised a suite with a patio that the person at the desk said they did not have suites with patio’s!"

"Everything was great. Breakfast was delicious. Clean rooms. Staff was nice and helpful. The building is old and historical. Only thing I didn't like was how the motel smelled inside....but it is old and I belive staff is aware because I saw plug in fragrances. The location is great."

"No parking unless you’re willing to shell out quite a bit of money ! We didn’t valet because it was 40 bucks a night but ended up paying 30 in parking garage a block away anyways !"

" It would be good if you had blackout drapes to keep extra light out. The venetion blinds let a lot of streetlight in. "
