A beautiful hotel in the centre of Cowbridge. Friendly staff, delicious food and a town centre that has some lovely little shops. Don’t hesitate to book a stay!
What a beautiful manor! We loved staying here. The manor sat on a secluded hill and provided just the experience we were looking for after long days with lots of people. The restaurant served delicious food. The staff was exceptional. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed this lovely hotel. It was close to the castle, and restaurants and shopping. The staff were warm and helpful. They were delighted to tell us the history of the building. I especially liked the lounge and the outside, roof terrace for added relaxation.
My wife and I had been on the road for 5 days and needed to do a load of laundry. The owner and staff were kind enough to do it for us at no charge. This left the day for us to other things with my sister who lives there. That was service above and beyond what was expected. Our thanks to Frank and his outstanding staff.

Lovely stay here for our anniversary weekend. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a quadruple room, which also had a hot tub!
From the moment we arrived, we had a great first impression. The room was absolutely stunning and full of history, which really added to the character of the stay.
We also ate at the Aura restaurant for bottomless brunch, and once again the service was fantastic. My only slight complaint was the burger, which felt a little cheap and seemed to use poor-quality...
I loved it. It was so close to the train station, which made it easy to find and walk to on my departure day. I also love that it was close to everything, great restaurants, great coffee, shops, the mall, you couldn’t go wrong. I went to a concert and it was within walking distance of the hotel. I lost my phone in the staff helped me identify the location where it was and asked me about the outcome afterwards. They were very good and stayed calm helping me to stay calm as well. I highly...
The stay at Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay was very pleasant. It is a fairly short walk from the train station (and the city centre) and quite close to Cardiff Bay.
The staff were very pleasant even finding a room before the check in time. They have been pretty helpful and polite throughout our stay.
The room was nice, clean and modern with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Though it wasn't more spacious both the room and the en suite bathroom were adequate size.

The history of the building is fascinating. A 17th C building made from stones of the nearby ruins, Penmark Castle.

Such a lovely inn. The staff was wonderful. The deck was a charming place to spend a sunny afternoon. Food was delicious! Despite feeling like we were in a country town, It was about 10 minutes from the airport. Typical narrow hedge row roads all around!
