This was our first time in Parry Sound, and we were not disappointed. The location, while not scenic, is close to restaurants, fuel, and shopping (There's a Walmart behind the hotel.), and it's not a far drive from the harbor. The hotel staff was really friendly, and we were welcomed with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that were still warm and gooey and delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I have stayed there on several occasions and have had a great experience every time. I really like the updates that occur constantly. This stay found brand new comfortable mattresses in all the rooms. Never have found anything at this motel that I didn't like, and if I ever do find something not to my liking I am sure the staff would make it right.
I booked 8 rooms for a golf tournament and everyone was very pleased with their rooms and the facility! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating to some of the changes that I requested. The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were fresh and clean. I would recommend Jolly Roger very much!
My husband and I wanted a quiet place to spend some time together. This place was perfect for that. However, it was cold and raining so perhaps that is why it was quiet. The food was excellent and the people friendly.
Great place for a long, beachy weekend with kids. Facilities are not great for preparing your own food, but the restaurants were fine for a short stay (got a bit monotonous for the kids). Service was friendly but slow. The view is AMAZING, and the lakefront was fantastic. A great place to rejuvenate for us all.
A trip up north to see the. Muskoka leaves. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast at the resort and a beautiful room overlooking the lake. Our second visit within the year. We will be back.
Very, very clean. My wife and I for 25 yrs. stayed in Motels and Hotels about every weekend as we did Trade shows and Art shows. This was the cleanest by far and the beds very comfortable. Old style Motel but room had every thing needed and looked as if it was painted last week. Very cheerful owners greeted you in the office for coffee and super muffins. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
