We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :)
We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!
This place was great. We went to Lagos first and it was too busy. So we found this hotel and enjoyed the city. Dining was close by as was the beach. Our room was comfortable too.

Never feels crowded with lots of swimming-pools. It's an ideal location in front of the beach. Breakfast is included and it is very good.

I had problems with the bathroom. Very bad design of the shower . While i was taking shower the water was simply going directly in the midle of the room !!! It could be be fixed very fast and very cheap. I couldn t understand why it wasn t done ????!!!!!. Shower needs a small shelf for cosmetics. Toilet wasn t phonic isolated from the main room. Overall very bad design of the room.
The building has a lot of charm. Plants, flowers and classic Portuguese interior design. It feels you are in a farmhouse, not in a hotel. The breakfast was great with so many options. The attic room where we stayed was so spacious, with a huge bathroom and a private terrace. I'd point out that they gave us combined twin beds and not a queen/king bad, which wasn't ideal. The hotel is well located, very walkable, and very convenient- it is right across from the bridge to the marina for tours and very walkable to a range of shops and restaurants. There are very limited hotel parking spots, but there are two parking lots within 1-2 blocks that always had spots in at least one of them if not both and there is free parking right across the pedestrian bridge at the marina. A little distance from old town, but Uber is easy and cheap. Very quiet area and walking distance to Ponta da Piedade cliffs
