Booked last minute but turned out to be a dream trip and stay at NH. Woke up at 6am on the first morning to see the sun rising from our room - the glow of Lagos under a pink sky is unique/special. Amazing location and staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived at the hotel. You’ll see a lot of reviews stating how good the breakfast is… it really is that good. Safe hotel parking, town centre close by and a hotel bus service to the beach which was brilliant. Didn’t want to leave to go home - no other hotel or resort would have matched NH for our first visit of Portugal.

The grounds and amenities were impressive. But the breakfast was excellent. We’ve traveled the world and can’t remember a better buffet assortment. There was a huge variety of breads, fruit, cereals and a yogurt bar, cheeses and meats, hot dishes and a juice selection that included champagne for mimosas!

The staff was very friendly and very good. Very last minute booking. My Husband and I did not realize the layout of the building in the room we got- was not explained that you had to go up many stairs, many halls, ramps m, elevators and did I mention stairs to get to our room with luggage- was quite difficult and getting from the room to amenities was excruciating and got lost several times -there two nights lost most of the time. Only had the breakfast buffet - excellent. Surrounding area in Lagos was lovely. If you are NOT getting a deluxe room! Standard room is quite difficult to maneuver, Caution- but it was clean.. need more signs to get around in the buildings. Good location.
