Manager Patty helped us tremendously after check out in finding another room due to the sewage fumes or odor coming from the drain system in the bathroom. This is an oasis in Ayutthaya! I loved the staff atention, they received me with a fresh brew orange juice. Then the room was perfect and extremely clean, with refrigerator and two water bottles free.

The woman who runs the hotel is so kind and helpful. She greeted us at 6 in the morning after our night train. When we finally emerged from our rooms at 11, she offered to make breakfast. She arranged a drive for us and helped us Loy Kratong. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The only complaint is that the beds are like rocks, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it.
This hotel is awesome. The owners are extremely friendly, the breakfast is superb. It is a 3 minute taxi ride away from the middle of the city. Located across the street from some ruins, it is a nice escape. The community area is very well thought out, almost as if you are in a jungle hut...very nice. It it by no means the most upscale establishment, but The Aiyara far exceeds its low nightly rate. We stayed there one night so we could see historic Ayutthaya before the day of our evening return flight out of Bangkok. It was great place to stay the hotel staff were very nice took us anywhere we wanted gave us maps and things to do. He set everything us for our tours and cab rides. The location is perfect also.
