Omni Shoreham Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Very old style and outdated hotel. While the lobby looks fine and the outside areas are nice, the hotel rooms don’t seem to have been refurbished at all. Our rooms in the East wing first floor had terrible views of equipment and parking lodge. The bed are very high and the bathrooms and aircon all perhaps from the time the hotel was first built. Overall clean with lots of activity and space for working and having coffee, hotel coffee shop, etc. in the large open areas of the lobby."
"The bathroom setup was pretty inconvenient — there was no counter space for makeup or a dop kit, which made getting ready awkward. The bathroom door also didn’t fully close or lock. The shower only had a half glass wall instead of a full door, so it was easy to get cold and water splashed outside the bathing area. On the positive side, the shampoo and soaps were good quality. Unfortunately, there was also what looked like a blood stain on the comforter, which was really gross and unacceptable. I’d stay somewhere else next time."
"Good hotel. Breakfast is limited from small menu. WiFi is OK but is rather slow, throttled to 3-4 MB/s in case you need to download large file. Fair amount of disconnects."
"The ease of getting the airport shuttle, even at midnight. Staff, including the restaurant were very helpful and on top of everything. Will be staying here on our next visit."

8/10 Good
"I didn’t see a breakfast buffet. We could hear the room next to us showering and it was loud. It was a good room for what we needed but I thought it was a bit over priced."
"Definitely have not seen a decent hotel in quite some time. There is no such thing as perfect but there were 2 things that bothered me and they both included housekeeping. 1.) If a room is occupied and you knock and do not get a answer or if there is no check out that day and no one ask for housekeeping. Housekeeping SHOULD NOT just enter the room. That was a huge no.2.) Then while at breakfast coming back to the room. I guess the housekeeper was cleaning my room and another. I came back to the pillows thrown in a corner on the floor. Now she did change the pillow cases. Even still she could have sat the pillows on the night stands. Other than this I would give 5 stars "
