We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The host was so incredibly hospitable, generous, and kind. He gave some fantastic recommendations for local sites that we otherwise may have never seen. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was even better. He even went the extra mile to pack us a lunch with our breakfast leftovers to take with us on the road. I can’t recommend this B&B enough!

The hotel staff made us feel like we were right at home; we felt like we were staying with friends. The hotel was close to the train (which could be a bit confusing at times). My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.
