The guesthouse occupies three units in a row of townhouses. My family of three got a spacious room in the basement facing the street. There was some street noises in the morning, but they were tolerable. The house was dated, but the interior was well maintained. The bathroom looked recently renovated and clean. There’s a restaurant, a bar, a beer garden, and honestly, we didn’t see it all. There is a whole farm and pigs and walking paths that I hope we get back to see another time.

I love this hotel. My parents had their wedding reception there in 1943. The tea in Alice's was perfection, and my room was out of a Beatrix Potter storybook. Registration staff was so welcoming with big smiles. The hotel is beautifully decorated and sports the cutest little elevator. It is spotless, everywhere. I love this place!

A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !
