Best hotel I have stayed at in quite some time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The homemade bread was excellent. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here to get away from the crowds at Venice and could not have picked a more relaxing area. The river runs right next to it. The town has a train station with a direct route to Venice. The photos do not do this property justice. The rooms look old in the photos and that could not be further from reality. The rooms are freshly renovated and the motif makes them appear in photos to have faded paint and furnishings, this is due to the color aesthetic not coming through in the pictures.

The location is a 3 minute walk from the train station but is on a quiet side street so it is away from all the hub-bub and crazy fray in front of the train station. I was surprised at how quiet the little street was that it is on. There were even a few nice restaurants on the side street. We walked everywhere in Venice for 5 days and this is a great location for that, as you don't have to rely on the vaporettos if you don't...
This hotel was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean. We would definitely use this hotel again if we ever came back to Venice. It is close to Saint Marks Square and lots of shopping is available.
The location was perfect for our 2-day stay. We were very close (9 minute walk) to the car park where we met our private transfer to Ravenna where we boarded our cruise ship, and it is very close to the St Lucia Train Station. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating. We would stay there again.

This was a great place for us to stay while visiting Venice. It is a charming building and hotel and our room was very nice - new, clean and modern. It is a very short walk to catch the water taxi to Venice, with many restaurants near and between the hotel and water taxi - perfect. The staff went out of their way to provide a high level of attention and service. They handled the parking of our rental car with no problem, which we did not use while there. I highly recommend the Ausonia Hungaria.
Wonderful staff, very comfortable room and bed with a great working AC! The included breakfast was by far THE BEST breakfasts we had in ALL of Italy! There are zero views to be had at this location however the convenience of being so close to water taxis, shuttle services and transportation to and from the airport was excellent. Recommend this property to everyone hands down!
